Directions to our hangar
We are located at 402A Otter Bay on Springbank Airport (CYBW), just 15 minutes west of Calgary.
All tours are available in the Robinson R44 or Bell 206 Helicopter. Each passenger enjoys a window seat with a bubble window providing unrestricted views of the tour. Bring a camera – our flights are photography friendly!
When you are booking your helicopter tour we will ask for weights for all passengers. It is very important to give an accurate weight as the pilots will be using this information to calculate weight and balance and fuel capacity for the flight. If needed passengers will be weighed prior to the flights departure.
Dress for the weather! This is especially important during the fall/winter/spring months. Our aircraft are heated but warm clothing is recommended.
Finally, bring a camera!! Our flights are photography friendly so snap away. Our pilots will be more than happy to take a photo of you and your group with the helicopter after the flight.

All helicopter tours are weather permitting. Passenger safety and comfort are our primary concerns. If the weather is not looking favourable for a scheduled flight our pilots will advise you as soon as possible to reschedule. All flights are subject to GST (5%).
Kananaskis Country Tour

This tour heads southwest from our Calgary base toward Bragg Creek, AB. On your way you may recognize the filming sites for some familiar Hollywood movies including Legend of the Falls, Shanghai Noon, and The Assassination of Jesse James. Proceeding north of Moose Mountain the foothills spring to life as we fly over the Kananaskis Lodge, and the Nakiska Ski area, (one site of the 1988 Winter Olympics). We then follow the alpine valley to scenic Barrier Lake before returning to the Springbank Airport.

Let us take you to one of the most rugged and amazing places in the Canadian Rockies! Ascend through the towering mountains of Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, gaze at the brilliant Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lakes and lookout for Mount Joffre as you make your way to the Continental Divide and on to Height of the Rockies Provincial Park. After taking in the sights of this breathtaking landscape you will start the return trip which includes views of Nakiska Ski Area (Home to the Alpine Events at the 1988 Winter Olympics), Kananaskis Village and Barrier Lake.

With the majestic Rocky Mountains as a backdrop, we make our way west towards the Wildcat Hills along the Bow River to the gleaming blue waters of Ghost Lake. Enjoy the serene beauty of the area from above while sail boats and kayaks glide on the lake beneath you. Looking west you will see Morley Flats and Mt. Yamnuska on the Eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies.
Extend this tour to 45 minutes to fly to western edge of this 13.5km long lake before returning to the Springbank Airport.

This tour will depart the Springbank Airport and follow the Bow River to the glacier fed Ghost Lake Reservoir. Continue west through the foothills towards the sparkling turquoise waters of Lake Minnewanka and on to the Banff town site where you will be greeted by the famous peaks of Mt. Rundle and Cascade Mountain. Keep an eye out for the iconic Banff Springs Hotel as you turn east for Canmore. As you soar over Canmore take in views of the Three Sisters and Ha Ling Peak before you exit the mountains and return to the prairies for the last bit of your journey.

Our newest mountain tour, Crowsnest Mountain is a scenic mountain in the southern Canadian Rockies of southwestern Alberta. At its highest point, mountain elevation is 9,137ft and is the highest peak south of Mount Assiniboine. Your tour begins having just departed Springbank airport and flying southwest towards Bragg Creek and near the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains. As we reach a cruising altitude flying south, your view of the countless western mountain tops begins to take shape. Upon arriving at our destination we begin a gentle orbit over Crowsnest Mountain in the Crowsnest Pass allowing passengers to photograph and video the spectacular scenery. Considered a picturesque sight as one drives through the Crowsnest Pass, made even more unique viewed from the helicopter at 9,500ft. From there, your pilot begins the flight north back to Springbank airport allowing passenger to reflect on thier journey while taking in all the sights on offering at high altitude. Truly an exceptional tour any time of the year!
