Springbank Airport
Mountain View Helicopters Flight School is located at the Springbank Airport, ten minutes west of Calgary, AB. (Follow Springbank airport signs on Trans Canada Highway). Springbank is a full facility airport providing the following: Helicopter training area within 3 minutes of the airport, controlled traffic (allowing "hands-on" aerodrome familiarization), variety of instrument approach aids and 12 minute transit for mountain training

The City of Calgary and Town of Cochrane are within 10 minutes East and West of the school. This offers a wide variety of housing options for out of town students.

Ground School
Mountain View Helicopters Flight School is licensed as a private vocational school under the Private Vocational Schools Act. Our ground school is conducted for Helicopter Pilots only in our proven curriculum. This includes full coverage of helicopter related topics as well as several practice exams.
